Conditional Sentence

Zero Conditional সাধারণত চিরন্তন সত্য, অভ্যাসগত সত্য এবং বৈজ্ঞানিক সত্য প্রকাশের ক্ষেত্রে Zero Conditional নিয়ম অনুসরণ করা হয়। সেক্ষেত্রে If যুক্ত Clause এবং Result Clause উভয়ই Present Indefinite Tense এ হবে।

Structure	If + Present Indefinite Tense + Present Indefinite Tense
Note	(Here, Present Indefinite Tense: Subject+V₁+ Object)

Ex: If You heat water to 100°C, it boils. If water freezes, it turns into ice. If It is summer, it feels hot.

1st Conditional

If যুক্ত Clause টি Present Indefinite Tense এ হলে Main /Result Clause টি Future Indefinite Tense হবে।

Structure	If + Present Indefinite Tense + Future Indefinite Tense
Structure of Present Indefinite Tense	Subject+V₁+ Object
Structure of Future Indefinite Tense	Subject+ Shall/will+V₁+Object

Ex: If you study, you will pass the exam. If I know him, I will meet with him. If you make delay, you will miss the train.

2nd Conditional

(A) If যুক্ত Clause টি Past Indefinite Tense এ হলে Main Clause / Result Clause টি Sub + would / could / might+v₁+Obj নিয়মে হবে। অর্থাৎ: If + Past Indefinite Tense + Sub+would/could/might+V₁+Obj Example: If you studied, you would pass the exam. If You invited me, I would go. (B) If যুক্ত Clause টি Sub+were / had+obj এই নিয়মে থাকে তাহলে Main Clause / Result Clause টি Sub + would/could/might+v₁+Obj নিয়মে হবে। [এখানে, were/had শব্দ main verb হিসেবে কাজ করেছে।] অর্থাৎ: If + Sub+were/had+obj + Sub+would/could/might+V₁+Obj Example: If I were you, I would handle the situation. If I had another pen, I could help you. ● লক্ষ্য করুনঃ শুরুতে If এর পরিবর্তে Had আসলে নিচের রুল অনুসারে বসাতে হবে। Structure: had+ Sub +other……….. + Sub+would/could/might+V₁+Obj Example: Had I the wings of a bird, I could fly in the sky. 3rd Conditional

(A) If যুক্ত Clause টি Past Perfect Tense এ হলে Main Clause / Result Clause টি Sub+would have/could have/might have+V₃+Obj নিয়মে হবে। অর্থাৎ: If + Past Perfect Tense + Subject+would /could /might + have+V₃+Object. Ex: If I had known him, I would have met him. If I had hurried, I could have caught the bus. (B) If বাদ দিতে হলে Past Perfect Tense এর had কে Subject এর আগে বসাতে হবে। অর্থাৎ: Had+ Subject +V₃+Object +… Subject + would /could /might +have+V₃+Object Example: Had you taken the medicine, You would have felt much better. Had I been a king, I would have helped the poor.

IMPORTANT RULE

Lest দ্বারা গঠিত দুটি বাক্য

● Lest দ্বারা দুটি Clause বা বাক্য যুক্ত হলে, Lest-এর পরবর্তী Subject-এর সঙ্গে should/might বসে এবং Verb এর Present form হবে। Structure: একটি Clause বা বাক্য+lest+Subject+Should/might+Verb(Present form)+বাকি অংশ
